Thaurorod is a melodic metal band from Hyvinkää, Finland. The band was founded in 2002. Thaurorod’s music combines many different metal styles and brings them together by sounding very unique and original. On stage this symphonic metal band gives its audience a theatrical and spectacular show full of energy and of course the great songs where melody is king. Thaurorod released 3 demos with different lineups between 2005-2007. The current lineup was formed in 2008. In 2009, the band began recording their debut full length album, "Upon Haunted Battlefields." Thaurorod signed a record deal with Noise Art Records in the Spring, 2010. Thaurorod's booking is handled by Rock the Nation.
