After releasing their 1994 debut self titled CD, KRoM felt a change in music style and vocals was necessary. Ed Combs, who formerly played guitar for the band now picked the mic and assumes the vocals after asking their former vocalist to move on. The improvement has been noted by everyone who has heard KRoM's new release. Crispin Tapia (bass) now plays a much larger role in the song writing. The contributions of Crispin are relfected in Rudy "Rude Dog" Flores' drumming because he can now concentrate on combining hard core double bass action with a groove change of pace. Finally, Chris Chubb (new guitarist), now the only guitarist, has the responsibility of driving the heavy distorted sound of this band. KRoM's new style of writing and playing is evident on their new 3 song demo "Violent Connection."
