A short time before the military "resolves" the viral outbreak once and for all, our hero and his companions need to stop the insanely violent infected before that "resolution" is put into place. Racing across New York, they fight off more of the "creatures" and along the way discover something that just may save them.
The story will well written with just enough background to keep the reader informed without requiring too much effort to understand what is going on. The character dialog is believable and adds to the positive experience of this comic.
The artwork is amazing with very creative usage of lighting to add emotion and tension to the scenes. The attention to detail is impressive as there are many elements in the art that are not "necessary" but all add to the enjoyment of each page. Each panel is done is various, often unorthodox, shapes and sizes. This helps guide the story in a simple and fluid manner.
This comic is a must for fans of the zombie/infected genre and offers some interesting twists to make this story unique enough to stand out from the crowd. The interesting characters each experience the story in their own way while collectively sharing in the experience.
A fun read well worth picking up and experiencing for yourself. The Scourge #4 is out June 8th.
