Shrapnel: Hubris page

This science fiction comic quickly grabs your attention with the incredible art and the deep storyline is incredible. Methodical in its approach, the story slowly introduces the reader to the situation and the characters. Like an old fashioned sci-fi novel, Shrapnel: Hubris weaves a tale of otherworldly chaos and corruption. Detailed dialogue helps keep the reader informed. Too often, other comics tend to shy away from the dialog and hope the artwork will carry the story. Shrapnel relies heavily on artwork for effect, but the story is told in the dialog between the characters.

As you read this comic, you can picture yourself there experiencing the events and conversations instead of just reading them. Nick Sagan and Clinnette Minnis have created a truly incredible comic that is well worth the read. Another benefit to this comic is that you can identity with the characters and feel their emotions.

At 50+ pages with a preview of Legends: The Enchanted at the end, you get a good value for your buck too. Awesome, colorful art combined with a rich, dialog driven story add up to a new sci-fi classic.
