Toby Knapp - Misanthropy Divine Band: Toby Knapp
Title: Misanthropy Divine
Year Released: 2008
Reviewer: Terry Bunch
Rating: 7

Toby Knapp, who plays all instruments on this CD, gives us blistering tracks of guitar work, solos, etc. Vocals are provided by Deen Sternberg on 4 of the tracks on this release. The style is similar to other "guitarist" CDs, power metal with high pitched Euro-style vocals. Deen does a great job of singing and Toby's guitar work is very good.

Slowing down a bit on track 4, "Dreaming the Microplex", then switching to an almost reggae style rock tune, "Shut Down", the CD expresses various influences. Speeding back up a bit for track 7, "Rhinecliff Bridge", we then get a few more instrumentals and the CD finishes off with a quick tempo instrumental "Wizard Archer".
